At Gold Country Groomers we provide exceptional dog grooming and daycare services, ensuring your furry friends are pampered and cared for in a safe environment. With over 20 years of experience, rest assured your pup is in good hands.

Your pup will be allowed to run free in a gated area with other friendly pups waiting to be groomed, or just hanging out for the day! We will always provide fresh water, beds, potty breaks, treats provided they have no dietary restrictions, and constant supervision.

Because our dogs are free to roam, we do not handle aggressive dogs or dogs over 50 pounds as a policy.

Dog Grooming

Professional grooming for dogs under 50 pounds, with prices ranging from $75 to $100.

Doggie Daycare

Safe and fun daycare for your pups! $20 for up to 4 hours or $45 for a full day. Only $10 more per dog if you have multiple pups! Complementary nail trims are included.

Walk-in nail trims and gland expressions available for just $10 every Friday, no appointment needed. Other itemized services, such as a face trim, are easily scheduled-in.

Grooming Services

Small Grooms (25lbs or less):

Under 10lbs: $75

10lbs - 25lbs: $80

Medium Grooms (25lbs to 50lbs):

$85 - $100

• Grooming price is dependent on size, coat condition, and temperament; all of which affect clip difficulty. Matted coats require more time to groom, as do larger dogs and excitable dogs that struggle to hold still.

• Grooming time is typically 2-4 hours. We have to groom so many dogs each day, and every dog requires a different amount of time and care to groom. Anxious, older, and matted dogs require more time to groom safely. We believe in making your dog as comfortable and as least stressed as possible, so we will take our time with dogs who have special needs.

• We require dogs to be up to date on their vaccines. Before your groom, you can send us a picture or forward their vaccine information to our email, goldcountrygroomers49@gmail.com.

• Due to safety and handling concerns we do not handle dogs over 50 pounds.

• As a policy we do not handle aggressive dogs.

Bath, Brush, and Blowout:

$45-$55 (25lbs or less)

$55-$75 (25lbs to 50lbs)

For short-haired dogs, this service includes a nail trim, ear cleaning, gland expression, bath and de-shedding. Long-haired dogs also get a full brush out, face, feet, and sanitary trim.

A 5-10 charge may be added for intensive de-matting. Due to the risk of brush burn, if matts are tight to the skin we will clip them out for the well-being of the dog.

A full groom consists of a bath, a full brushout, a full hair clip, sanitary trim, foot pad trim, nail trim, gland expression and ear cleaning.

Doggie Daycare

• $20 for up to 4 hours plus an extra $10 per dog.

• $45 for the whole day plus an extra $10 per dog.

To accommodate work hours, drop-off time for daycare is as early as 8:30am and pick-up time is as late as 5:30pm. Please call us ahead of time to book your doggie daycare, as we have limited availability.

If you have multiple dogs, it is an extra $10 per dog. So if you have us watch 2 dogs for 4 hours, your total would be $30.

Complementary nail trims are included in our doggie daycare service!

Itemized Services

Face Trim: $20

A face trim involves clipping out hair from around the eyes along with trimming the bangs and mouth.

Feet Trim: $20

Trimming the feet involves clipping hair out of the pads and shaping the foot. This is a good service if your dog frequently encounters tree sap and burrs.

Sanitary Trim: $10

A sanitary trim involves clipping hair from the rear and potty area. This is good for the overall cleanliness and well-being of your dog.

Nail Trim: $10

Using nail clippers we trim nails to the quick, which is a vein that runs the length of the dog's nails. Typically it takes a couple of weeks for the veins to recede, and at that time we can clip them down further if necessary.

Gland Expression: $10

We will check and express your dog's anal glands externally. Usually, small breeds need this service more than larger breeds. Butt-scooting is a common indicator of full glands. If they feel hard, there is a good chance they are impacted, in which case we will refer you to a vet.

ON FRIDAYS NAIL TRIMS AND GLANDS ARE OFFERED AS A WALK-IN SERVICE FROM 10AM-4PM.

Besides nail trims and glands on Fridays, all other itemized services require an appointment. Typically we can schedule you in quickly, as itemized services are less time-consuming than full grooms.
